2face, Lami, Sound Sultan- Act 4 Africa!

PRESS RELEASE

N Envoy Lami, UN Ambassador of Peace Sound Sultan and Africa's finest 2Face have collaborated to put out the single Act 4 Africa. The trio were recently appointed Oxfam spokespersons to call on Africans across the continent to action to ensure that the famine experienced in the Horn of Africa recently is the last famine Africa experiences.

As a precursor to a series of public events to raise awareness with Africans everywhere on the importance of addressing Africa's food security crisis, they have pooled together their communal influence on a song – Act4Africa – which they hope will serve as a call to action.

The initiative is part of Oxfam's global campaign that aims to empower men and women living in poverty to claim power in the way the world manages land, water and climate change, so that they can grow or buy enough food to eat – now and in the future. In Nigeria the GROW campaign is implemented under the auspices of Voices for Food Security (VFS)—a platform of 15 Nigerian Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and small-scale farmers associations across the country.

Currently 13 million people in the Sahel region are faced with a serious food crisis that threatens their lives and livelihoods. If early and effective action is not taken, it may prove as devastating and costly as past regional food crises in 2005, 2008 and 2010.

Act 4 Africa was co-written by the artistes, produced by J. Sleek and mixed by Indomix.

New Music: Shilekun- Dynasty ft. Tizzle!

Introducing fast-rising Lagos-based producer/artist DYNASTY of Drizzle Crew with his massive debut single titled "Shi Le Kun" which features 17-year old future star vocalist Tizzle. Produced by Dynasty himself, "Shi Le Kun" is a dance floor filler in every sense of the word and a massive one at that. Laced with a heavy bassline, thumping drum patterns and lush synths, "Shi Le Kun" showcases Dynasty's excellent production skills while the infectious and catchy chorus and verses go a long way to highlight Dynasty's musicianship and chemistry with young rising start Tizzle.

JJC speaks on his history with Dbanj!

Remember JJC and 419 squad? Then you'll remember Skillz from the group. He's the mastermind behind the hit track; "'We are Africans'". He was at one point proclaimed as one of D'banj's early mentors. Nigezie's E News interviewed him and he had a lot of "not nice" things to say about Dbanj.

If you read the Dbanj's interview with The NET Ng, you would remember this statement; "we worked for four years and got nowhere. Why would you be slandering my name?" Skills stated that at that point in which Dbanj spoke about, the JJC & the 419 squad was "at the top of its game". He also shared on how he helped D'banj, Kas and other artistes, stating that; "I used to pay Don Jazzy a thousand pounds a month."

He also said that, he and Don Jazzy wrote the lyrics for the song, 'Mobolowon', because D'banj had issues with the police in the United Kingdom. He also stated that; "If D'banj wants to mention my name," he says. "All he should say is thank you."

Dude must be pained because he doesn't make up to half of what Dbanj makes now! Eyaaa!
