Praiz raises N10 Million for a Baby Girl with a hole in her Heart!

R&B/Soul singer Praiz Adejo offered 100% of the revenue from the sales of his callertune 'Oshé' towards post-operative care for a baby girl who had just completed an operation to treat a serious heart condition (a hole in her heart). Somaya Olayinka Dahli had a successful heart operation in late 2013. Doctors informed her parents that Somaya would need post-surgery treatment, monitoring and care to keep her alive. Praiz learnt of the situation and decided to help out.

Praiz successfully raised the sum of N10 Million via the callertune project.

In his own words Praiz said, 'It was sad seeing Somaya go through all that pain, she's a little girl who shouldn't suffer like that.

Deola Sagoe drops ex-husband's name!

Popular fashion designer, Deola Sagoe, has apparently dropped her ex-husband's name, "Sagoe" from her business.

I hear she will be re-branding simply as "Deola" for the brand's 25th year in the fashion industry.

In a recent interview with Okay Africa, the mother of 3 who divorced her Ghanaian husband Kofi Sagoe many years back said she's working on rebranding her fashion line and one of her measures is to change her brand name, Deola Sagoe to Deola, so as to make it more personal. 

"Its been 25years that I have been designing and I'm actually going to be re-branding as Deola to make the label somewhat more personal. Deola is about bringing more of the essence of me into my clothing. Deola is very high-end, very bespoke. Deola is more available to a larger number of people who love the brand, who wants to wear it and it is more accessible." She said.

Kay Switch confirms he's expecting a baby with girlfriend, Meena

Well, it's official,  Kay Switch is expecting a baby with his, Liberian, beauty queen, girlfriend, Meena Subramani.

He confirmed the news in an interview with Encomium magazine.

He said; "Yes, it's true.  My girlfriend is pregnant. It really makes me feel like a man. We'll get married one day, though I cannot disclose when now"

I listen to Toke and Nanya on the Morning Drive most of the time. Toke likes to take jabs at Nanya so when I heard this gist, I wasn't shocked.

According to what i heard, Toke attacked Nanya Diali first by saying the shirt he wore was fake. Nanya who is fond of letting Toke have the shine got upset and replied her back that his shirt may be fake, but she Toke, is fake from head to toe. A shocked Toke quickly told him to expatiate and Nanya let the cat out of the bag by saying; "If you remove the weaves, the fake eye lashes, the makeup, the push up bra and especially the bleached skin, people will run. You have no single natural beauty, you are totally fake".
