Popular Nigerian Producer/Director, Amaka Igwe Dies at 51

When I heard Amaka Igwe died, I was in shock. Y'all will know her as the creator of Fuji's House of Commotion.

Popular and very talented producer and director; Amaka Igwe died, at age 51, after suffering an asthmatic attack. She was immediately rushed to the hospital after initial interventions failed. Unfortunately she passed on before getting to the hospital.

 Amaka Igwe and her husband were in Enugu for pre-production of an Igbo series when she died. She is survived by 3 children, her husband of 21 years Charles Igwe, an aged mother, siblings and a large extended family.
