He climbed the mast around 12pm and threw a note down,saying that he climbed the mast because he wanted people to intervene in an issue he has with the former vice president; Atiku Abubakar. He claimed; the former VP owed him money.
He stated he wasn't going to come down until the IG of police showed up. He was at the end of the day persuaded to come down by the staff of the National Emergency Management Agency, fire fighters and the police. He was allegedly taken into custody after he came down.
