JK MEETS BANKYONDBEATZ!!!!!!

JK has for some months now been chasing bankyondbeatz around for an interview. The talented ever-busy producer finally sat down with JK some days back to talk about life and how Novakillz and H.I.M. have influenced his career! ENJOY!!!

JK. Who exactly is banky?

BANKY: Banky??? Okay! I'm a music producer, My real name is Abiri Bankole Oluwabunmi... I was born on the 13th April 1993! Hmmm. I think that's all.

JK. Educational background

BANKY: Errmm. I went to a primary school called clemmy; funny name (laughs) where I was the school's drummer boy (smiles)... Secondary school- primetouch college and now I'm in Babcock university 200 level.....

JK. What was growing up like for you?

BANKY: Growing up for me? That one no dey oh... Grew up in the hood! Grew up in egbe! (Laughs)... Thats all for now.

JK. When was your first encounter with music?

BANKY: Errrrmmm. Can't remember the date! But the first artiste that I ever worked with is H.I.M. Shout outs to him... He was the one that pushed and forced me into this music stuff!  Then we used to use laptop mics to record in school; Babcock diploma days; January, 2009.

JK. Where did the name bankyondbeatz come from?

BANKY: The name bankyondbeatz was given to me by my brother from another mother @novakillz...

JK. Are your parents in full support of your music career?

BANKY: Yes... Full support! But not financially sha! (Laughs)

JK. Apart from producing do you do any other thing?

BANKY: Nope... 

JK. You've worked on some really good songs like "she say she wanna" and "na u sabi",what's your inspiration?

BANKY: mayne! Me sef I no sabi! The thing just comes from nowhere.

JK. People keep asking; do you work for only babcock rappers? Because we havn't really seen much work frm you on other rappers' songs.

BANKY: Nope!!! I've worked with some other artistes outside Babcock such as L.O.S, bridge, dammy krane, flowsick, lala, koolkidd.

JK: Does banky have a girlfriend?

BANKY: No.

JK: Why?

BANKY: no reason

JK.Where should we expect to see bankyondbeatz in the next few years?

BANKY: By Gods Grace, I should be successful!

JK. What advice do you have for other upcoming producers?

BANKY: Mayne, all of us na upcoming! But still on still they shoudn't give up on what they are doing, they should keep working hard!!! (Smiles)

JK. If you were to come back to earth as an animal what animal would that be and why?

BANKY: Elephant! Because I love elephants noni! (Smiles)
