I was shocked to hear today that, Uncle Phil from Fresh prince of belair, James Avery, is dead.
I hear he died at a Los Angeles, California hospital on Tuesday evening. He was said to have died due to complications arising from the open heart surgery which he had recently undergone.
His co-star, Carlton Banks, Alfonso Ribeiro confirmed the death on Twitter, tweeting:
