The first of December was really a sad day for many.
Oba Adebiyi Adesida of Akure Kingdom also died on that day. He died in his place early hours of Sunday morning after a brief illness.
The Oba ascended the throne on the 12th of August, 2010 after he was recalled from London shortly after the former Oba was dethroned because he physically abused his wife. The late Oba attended the wedding ceremony of his son two weekends ago in Lagos before passing on this morning.
