RUMOR ALERT: "WIZKID'S GOT A KID"

But who in the world wakes up in the morning and starts rumors like this? I woke up yesterday morning to the funniest thing ever. Wizkid was trending on twitter.

 I know you're like; "is that news?". He was trending because someone started a rumor that he impregnated a University of Legon undergraduate who goes by the name; Sola. The rumor mongers even went on to give more information that the supposed babe lives in Magodo and Wizkid's family and mentors won't agree till a DNA test is carried out on Wizkid's supposed baby girl. I couldn't help but wow at the statements and tweets i was hearing and seeing on twitter respectively. I went to make my own research and wizkid himself in an interview said this;

"Q: There’s talk going on right now. That WizKid has a kid.

A: (Laughs) It sounds funny. Look at it ‘Wizkid has a kid’. Doesn’t that sound funny itself?

Q: You’re saying it Isn’t true? That it’s just a rumour?

A: Yeah, na real rumour. In fact that’s the rumour! (Laughs). But I’m not thinking about that right now. I’m looking out for myself in that kind of situation. I’m looking out for myself "

Even wizkid's saying it is a rumor. I just wonder how this whole thing started. His tweets even provoked the rumor. In his tweet below; he could have been talking about anything, but trust Nigerians to twist the facts to suit what they believe.

HIS TWEET ON THE 19TH OF AUG.:

"hey All.. Got sumthin to tell yall. In life, there are those times when you wonder about the wrong decisions you’ve made… This is one of those times for me.  I realize that I haven’t always lived up to everyone’s expectations from my loved ones to the immense love from my fans. I am sorry.  Please continue to pray for me.  With the help of my family and my EME big brothers, I am working on becoming a better man, a better artiste, a more responsible person with every one of my actions."

 You guys should give the dude a break, first Tonto Dike now this. In my opinion, Wizkid and EME RECORDS should come out with an official public statement to state how true or false the rumor is,because behind every rumor there is an ounce of fact. Something must definitely have triggered it. But for now, this is the only information JK can provide; 

"it is just a rumor"-WIZKID.
